About

QuickForum™ provides FREE forums, blogs, galleries, wikis and other pages to create fully interactive websites.

Forums

Our forums differ from most Internet forums in that

  • the messages are displayed in a threaded tree structure with options to display them in a traditional bulletin board linear fashion, and
  • all current threads are displayed on the main page without having to click thorough sub-forums.

This is advantageous for more serious or technical discussions where the relationship of who replied to whom is important. View demo.

Features

  • Easy to configure and use
  • Usenet-like threaded tree structure of the messages
  • Different views of the threads possible (classical, table, folded)
  • Categories and tags
  • BB codes and smilies

  • No bandwith or server worries. Forums are hosted on our high-speed server and distributed by a cloud-based content delivery network that caches pages at data centers located around the world for speed and reliability.

Blogs

Create a blog using our network installation of WordPress, the standard in blogging applications. Blogs work great as a main site from which to link forums, galleries, etc.

Photo albums

Upload your photos to an album you create in the QuickForum Gallery.

Wiki

Wikis have an easy to learn markup and are ideal for collaborative editing. Create as many wiki pages as you need in the QuickForum Wiki.

Chat rooms

Internet Rely Chat (IRC) is a protocol for real-time Internet text messaging (chat) or synchronous conferencing. It is mainly designed for group communication in discussion forums, called channels, but also allows one-to-one communication via private message as well as chat and data transfer, including file sharing. We currently use the FreeNode.net IRC servers. Frequently Asked Questions
